What has this genius ever done to you guys for you to be treating him this way? Is it because he has not conformed to the truth, which is the society’s way of thinking? Is it because he speaks his truth without apology? Is it because he unapologetically stands for what he believes without waiver? Yes, the genius who is Donald Trump.
Now I know some Trump stans are very loyal and they attack you only for calling his name. I will quietly ask you to read to understand what I am saying and not only to react to what I am saying. Are you ready for this? Let’s go…
People continue to describe the president, Mr. Trump, Donald, Don, the guy in the Whitehouse, 45th(lol)…not sure what to call him…think I will just call him DT to not have to type his name so often. People continue to describe DT as stupid and incapable of reading or thinking past a certain level. Others call him narcissistic, a disgrace to the American people and the American democracy; xenophobic, and racist, people even liken him to a kid in a man’s body, a reality show star. Bottom line, some Americans do not like DT and I can understand why – he does not fit into society’s tiny box of rules as to what is acceptable behavior. He does not conform to society’s norms and expectations. If you do not conform, you are labeled a bad person. So that is what DT is to a part of the population of the United States – a bad guy. I do not agree with that. As I said before, and I will say it again, DT is a genius.
Imagine being so “dumb” that you have the entire world at your fingertips. Listening to every word that comes from your mouth and either conforming or working continuously to prove you are stupid. So “dumb” that you hold one of the highest offices in the world with responsibility for the welfare and wellbeing of over 60,000,000 people. So “dumb” that you single-handedly placed yourself and your family in the mouths of all forms of media houses worldwide, constantly reporting on your every move, highlighting your conversations and strategies…causing you to be the biggest reality television star, businessman, and non-politician to ever be elected president. What a “DUMBASS”. When I grow up, I want to be like DT.
So, let’s start from the beginning. I remember sitting down in graduate school and hearing so many Americans proclaim with such certainty that DT could never become president. They were confident that the American people were smarter than voting for someone with such polarizing ideals and idle banter. I remember saying he would win. “Why would you say such a thing, Tena? How could you even joke about something like that?” While not all Americans may appear to hold his viewpoints, a lot of them sure do. Boy, was I right! Or was I wrong?
This “idiot” as many have described him, is so calculating that he ran for president and used all the strategies he knew would work to ensure that the American public would be so hypnotized by his rhetoric that he could get them to do anything. Using the emotions of fear, pride, greed, lust, envy, glutton, wrath, and sloth – “the seven deadly sins,” eight if you need to be technical, he was able to turn Americans into his army of puppets. He used people from all facets of the socioeconomic structure to do his bidding without questioning, much like a mob boss. DT is the ultimate leader and no one can deny that. Ok, so I can hear all the nuts and bolts in your mind turning and tightening because you realize that what you just read is the truth! Hahahahahaha, like a sheep to the slaughterhouse, one by one, he got them all to do his bidding. What a puppet show – in the form of The Apprentice – did the Americans/the world become. The sheer genius, DT, was able to take his reality show and turn it into the reality that affected the world. Everything DT did was scrutinized, everything DT touched was scrutinized, and everything DT said was dissected and ripped apart to make the news. If he scratched his head, they reported on it. He could not even take a ‘dump’ without it becoming the latest meme or the next hot topic for the news. Every time you turned on the news, read the news, or opened social media of any kind – there you would find DT the “dumb ass”. He had the world/nation so wrapped around his fingers, tugging at our strings, and there was nothing we could do to stop him; like the sheer genius that he was, he just kept going and going and going…always being able to be the center of the world’s attraction. He is the man, and he knew it, and there was nothing that anyone could do about it. He is the most influential president the American people have ever had, but they were so blinded by the fact that he did not measure up to the societal norms of acceptance that they were too blind to see it. If they had spent more time listening to what he was saying and less time judging his every word and movement, they would have been made “great again,” and no one could stop them. Look at it: he is the most history-making president the American people have ever seen, and he will continue to make history even now that he has left office. Best believe that DT will be the most talked about president in the history of American presidencies and that is no joke. He single-handedly made himself unforgettable. And people still consider him “dumb”? Wake up, America, and recognize greatness. Donald Trump is America, and he is great. Where is the lie?
Go ahead, call me all the names you can think of, whatever you decide to do, DT would still be great and you would have lost out on a good read. Do what you will, but remember, this is my opinion and like me, you are entitled to your own opinion – so feel free to exercise your freedom of opinion and actions like I did when I decided to pen this article. What I would ask is for you to do it respectfully, as I, much like DT, do not conform to society’s norms, and I will not be bullied. Now that we have cleared that up, let us move on…
Throughout my social work education, it was highlighted that our clients did not come to us to fix them; they came for us to help them come up with solutions they could use to correct their varying situations. They did not need our judgment, nor did they need us to project our values and moral thought processes on them. What they needed was a judgment-free zone where they could express themselves freely, knowing that they had our complete confidence and support to work with the presented situation.
No one likes to be judged; no one wants to be under constant scrutiny without being allowed to express themselves without being labeled. It is a sad space to be in, and that was the reality for DT. There was nothing that he could potentially do that could be viewed as constructive, even if the way he did it was not what society deemed as “ideal”; call him unconventional…DT was not a conformist, and he did things how he wanted to do them, and he made it especially hard when he was being judged. Like any animal, when they feel cornered, they scratch themselves out of the corner in an attempt to keep themselves safe. That is what I truly believe DT did. Here, he was doing the best he could do with the kind of socialization he had received throughout his lifetime, and he was constantly being judged for what he knew to be his truth. He was being constantly bullied for making decisions he truly understood to be acceptable behavior, at least for his family culture and dynamic. Were they effective? Of course. As his behavior garnered him the power he had yearned for, the ultimate power, and he did that using his learned behaviors. If the media and all his nay-sayers had stopped backing him in corners long enough for him to find what he was looking for, maybe he would have been more submissive and would have likely conformed to the will of the American people – I do not even believe this – the thought of it sounded doable. Guess I am just as delusional as the society…he would not change because that is his reality.
DT would form narrative after narrative aimed to distract society from what was truly happening and here the “smart guys”, in the form of the media, would run with it even though they knew he was trying to “distract the American people”. They would call his rhetoric news, speak on one sentence he spoke for weeks without end, allowing themselves to be another group of puppets whom DT used to distract the society while giving him smooth passage into his next move without anyone seeing what he was up to until it was done. The more I type, the more I want to be mentored by DT. FAKE NEWS! He labeled them…where is the lie? He fed them some information he knew was fake, and they ran with it. Check their ratings! They are so low, he would say, when last he checked – he single-handedly brought the viewership and the trust in all other media houses to an all-time low, and there was nothing they could do about it. No matter how hard they tried to smear him and damage his “character” or lack thereof, their efforts remained futile. He remained untouchable.
The media helped him in his bid to gain absolute power and autonomy and they did not even know this – or did they? That place called my mind…always spinning and twirling, pulling out one conspiracy after the next. But you think about it: for individuals who are so “smart” with all their accumulated degrees and educational feats, why could they not pick up on the manipulation and outright puppeteering that was being used on them by a so-called “uneducated” individual? They all reported that he paid people to sit his SAT and he only got into college because of the influence of his family. So how did someone at that level manage to own the world using the limited intellect the media continued to try and report that he had? Was it only “street smarts” that he used to take over the world? Children, if what the media is saying is true – DT says it is FAKE NEWS – then being educated is unnecessary; street smart is the way to go. You know, kids best be street smart as so many researchers and analysts have predicted that due to COVID-19, they are going to end up with the dumbest generation to come. How inspirational…why do these analysts and researchers think that it is acceptable to make these kinds of pronouncements on our nation’s children; – death and life are in the power of the tongue – if DT made those pronouncements, though…just take a moment of silence and let it all sink in.
He constantly said it; he made regular mention of how he felt about the media’s constant attacks on him. How he was not treated like everyone else…constantly being bullied by the entire world. If this man is not the strongest human being I have had the privilege to see, I do not know who is. So many have been bullied by one, two, or even a group of persons and ended up becoming suicidal or even psychotic; he was being attacked by the world and was able to maintain their stance without losing a strand of hair. He went into the presidency looking the same way he is looking now. So many other accepted presidents have gone into the white house and come out looking so aged, but DT… looks like he could take on a couple more white house runs. Even after being a one-term president, he showed the world that his leadership style works, and no one can refute that.
The entire republican party had to step in line with his way of doing things, or they were “FIRED.” He fired so many from his party until he found the ones that remained blindly loyal and fearful of his reproach, much like a dictator. They sold their souls in a bid to be “The Apprentice” and were constantly made to yield continuous praises to DT for every decision that was made. They had nothing to do with any policy, pardons, laws, or decisions that were taken by the party. DT was the republican party, and that was that. He allowed the other members to play the role of fillers because while God is omnipresent, DT was not, so he needed fillers to be in other places only to deliver the messages he told them they should.
Interview after interview, meeting after meeting, whenever any Republican would speak, their talking points were identical; they were never allowed to deviate from the script. It was as if he programmed them – placed them under his spell. If one of his puppets changed the script or even allowed themselves to cohere into offering information that was not on the script, they knew there would be hell to pay, and he would openly chastise them, and they would never be allowed to speak again until they were reprogrammed. What an amazing feat from an “uneducated dumbass.”
Like the Republicans, the Democrats were made to do DT’s bidding. He would cast narrative after narrative, and they just followed; opposing away, led deeper into a distraction that caused them to lose sight of the bigger picture. Demanding that DT change his truth to suit the truths of the society. He is not on that mission, though! His vision is to “Make America Great Again” – DT is “America,” so he was truly working on making himself great, which he did. Do you truly believe he was speaking about America, “these United States” – the nation/people? Really? You must be joking!!! Amazing how blind you all were to this.
Donald Trump! Leave him alone! Let him live his truth and be the best him that he can be… “he is the worst president America has ever seen,” – says almost all media houses – GET OVER IT! Is he out now, or is he? He is out, but he continues to be extremely relevant as the media will now be so void of real news they will continue to liken President Biden to everything DT did. I would not want to be president after DT; he is so impactful that the world will never forget him or his presidency.
Romans 14 speaks clearly on how we should not judge others because of the level of their faith…only God can judge DT and only God should.
