Embrace Change: Step-by-Step Guide to Transforming Your Life and Breaking Free from the Past

When it comes to making changes in our lives it can be difficult. It will require that we take a hard look in the mirror at what we don’t like about ourselves, the people in our lives, our careers, or our environment.

When it comes to making changes in our lives it can be difficult. It will require that we take a hard look in the mirror at what we don’t like about ourselves, the people in our lives, our careers, or our environment. This can be a hard thing to do at times because you are looking at yourself and admitting to yourself you need to change. We have to be honest about what is there that we want to change and get rid of altogether. It’s going to require work, whatever it is. Making changes requires movement and moving forward to the results we want to see. Who is ready to make a change in their life? Who is sick and tired of being sick and tired of the way they are or living? Who is ready to get rid of the old you and begin doing things differently? Are you ready for a new perspective in your life? Who is ready to finally lose the weight? You didn’t get in that place overnight, and it’s going to take time to get in a new position in life.

Have you ever thought there has got to me more to my life than just this? I need to change. Making a transition from one state to another and undergoing the transition is a process within itself. To change from one thing to another requires a made-up mind and determination. When you talk about making life changes, that can be a scary thing to do. There is the fear of the unknown. You start thinking in your mind, what if this happens or that happens? What will they think? What will this change do to them? What will happen if you stay the same and continue with the same status quo? Change can be good especially when it’s for your good. What if it doesn’t work? You will never know if you don’t start and lock in. You must stay focused on what you truly want and stop with the questions. It’s time to take a leap of faith.

What is stopping you from moving forward? Let’s get rid of the excuses and start with one step at a time. What is the one thing you want to change about yourself? There could be more than one thing. Your attitude, mindset, job, career, do you want to go to school, trade school, become an author, a difficult relationship, a challenging relationship, do you have family issues, do you have low self-esteem, or whether there are some issues from the past haunting you. You have to do your research and put a plan in place. Find someone to hold you accountable for your plans.

Do you desire an internal change?  Confidence, your self-worth, comparing yourself to others, learning how to say no? Why do you see yourself this way? Do you desire an external change? External changes you feel as if you have no control over. Where you live, where you work, and how you are treated by others. External changes such as looks, weight, and hair.

Perhaps you have an addiction of some sort, such as alcohol, drugs, gambling, or sex. Seek out professional help. Do you ever reminisce about how your life used to be, and you wish you could go back to how it used to be? Maybe the way your life used to be drove you into what you are living in right now.

Nothing will change if you don’t take the necessary steps to see the change. You do have control over these things, and you have what it takes to see it through. We can’t do anything to change our past experiences. The past is the past, and it’s over. Is it really over, though, or is it like a thorn in your side? We all have been guilty at one time or another of holding onto the past, and you are not alone. Past hurts we can’t seem to let go of from those who we thought were friends, those closest to us, those who loved us, and even the pain caused by family members. Those past relationships we know that were no good for us. My past has shaped who I am today. What can we learn from our past? I can gain wisdom from my experiences. I have learned never to put myself in certain situations. If I keep looking backward, I can’t see what’s in front of me and where I am going. Today is a new day! God desires to do a new thing in you if you let Him!

Are you ready to be free from the negative mindsets about yourself by renewing your mind? Are you ready to be free from the inner turmoil? If you continue to do what you have always done, you will get the same results. What will it require to make the change? Money, time, a coach, a newfound determination, passion, and belief in yourself.

Take one step at a time and make small steps. What’s important is that you are making progress with your goals. Be consistent until it becomes the positive change in your life that you want to see. Yes, there will be setbacks, but don’t give up on yourself. Keep going and keep pushing. Whatever changes you are looking for it will require you to do the work. Stop settling for where you are when you know you can do and be better. You have the power within you to make the change. You keep Stepping into “ANEW You” until you become the better version of yourself one step at a time that you want to be. You can do this!

Rise Up!

To rise up above your situation requires faith “ Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1 What are you hoping for? What are you waiting for? What are you expecting to happen? While you are waiting for it to manifest act as if you have it already. Start making preparations for it

I don’t see it but I believe it will happen. I don’t understand it but I know it’s going to work out for my good. When will you rise up above your situation? How long will you sit there? How long will you wait for someone to come and rescue you? How long will you feel sorry for yourself? How long will you blame others? When God has already given us the power to rise up.

Can you imagine? You are in service and someone you have known for years of being lame and now they are instantly healed. For years of wanting to be healed, years of being rejected, years of not knowing who you are, years of living in confusion, years of living in rebellion, years of not knowing your purpose, you messed up, get over yourself. It’s time out for excuses. God knew it was going to happen, God knows what you were going to do or have done. It’s over; now rise up!
