When asked how she navigates betrayal while staying grounded in her faith, Nona didn’t offer a sugarcoated response.

“The theologically correct answer would be, ‘Jesus was betrayed, and He said, forgive them for they know not what they do.’ But I am not Jesus.”

She acknowledged that betrayal hurts, and pretending otherwise doesn’t make it any easier. Rather than suppressing those feelings, she turns to God—fully and honestly.

“One of the first things I do is verbally submit the pain to God. I tell Him exactly how I feel, even the ugly parts. If I’m angry, if I want something bad to happen to that person, I say it. Because God already knows my heart, so why try to fake it?” To Read The Full Story Click Here!
