That is my anthem song. I’m still standing. It has been a rough time. To be honest it has been a rough couple of years. But I’m still standing. How many of you are saying that today? How many of you are saying it has been rough? It has been hard, but I am still standing. By the grace of God, I am still here. Your life has had its ups and downs, but you are still standing. You have kept your eye on God you have been able to withstand many things. Philippians 4:13 says “I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me”. You are holding tight onto that scripture. In doing so you continue to fight through. You continue to stand.
Life continues to throw blows at you whether it is family, your job, relationships, finances, or health issues, you continue to stand. It is through these moments that your faith in God evolves. And for some, this is where their faith in God may be tested. You want to break down. You want to give up. You want to let go. Some of you may even think the unthinkable, thinking of suicide. You feel it is too much to bear. But your life is so precious to God. That is not what He wants you to think of. The spirit of the devil tries to make it true during moments such as these. He tries to overwhelm you, and you begin to not be able to discern right from wrong. Do not give in. You must keep on standing. Holding on to the Word of God.
God is saying trust me. Have faith the size of a mustard seed. That is all you need to have. Believe in me. Matthew 17:20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” That is all you need to have. Our Father is a loving Father. He cares so much for us. He comforts us when we are down. He is there whenever we need Him. He is there when we do not know it at the time. When we have these hard times. We must have faith. Sometimes it is not easy. I am not going to lie to you and say it is. But you must dig deep inside and find that mustard seed size of faith and hold on tight. Hebrews 11:1 tells us that “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see”. We must believe without seeing. And know that God has it all under control. No matter how bleak it looks. The world can knock you down at times and it may not even be your own doing, it is just life. The world can keep on knocking you down repeatedly. But you cannot give up. You must believe that God has got you. You must keep standing.
You must keep standing. There is a testimony in your struggle. There is a testimony in your heartache. There is a testimony out of your hardship. There is a testimony in the tears you have cried. There is a testimony amid your storm. There is a testimony. Many times, we feel we are the only ones going through. We look at other people and we see the outside exterior. But it is like they say once the doors are closed, and the blinds are closed, things are a different story. There is someone out there going through what you are going through. And your testimony could be exactly what they need to hear to know they can make it through. To know that if they just stand all will be well. To know all they need to do is just keep standing. Your testimony is someone else’s breakthrough.
As we are going through, God is waiting for us to cry out to Him. He is waiting for us to cry out to Him for help. As you are standing give it to God. Give your situation to your Heavenly Father. It is in the still of the night you will hear Him say “I am with you. I will never leave you. I am always here”. It is by the grace of God that you are still here. It is by the grace of God that things are now becoming clear. It is by the grace of God that you listened when he called. Yes, the struggle is real. Yes, your life may be in turmoil. Yes, you may be going through strife. Yes, hardship may abound now but God. God knows all about our struggle. Hebrews 4:13a “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight.” Our Heavenly Father is there for us. He is our strong tower. Proverbs 18:10 “The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe”. He is our comforter, our peace in the middle of the storm, Jehovah Shalom. He is our provider, Jehovah Jirah. He is our healer, Jehovah Rapha. He is our Shepherd. No matter what we are going through, God has it all under control. He is our everything. He is the doctor in the hospital room. He is the lawyer in the courthouse. He is our financial breakthrough. Because He is our refuge. Psalm 46:1-2 “1God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. 2Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,” Keep standing today because HE IS I Am!
As you are standing, speak Victory over your situation. It may seem hard to do. But you must praise Him during your storm. The devil is waiting for you to break down. He is waiting for you to give up. He is waiting for you to stop believing. He is waiting for you to throw in the towel. He is waiting for you to think you do not have a way out. He wants you to think you are all alone. He wants you to think God has given up on you. Do not believe anything the devil says. The devil is a liar, and God has the final say. You keep on standing no matter how hard it may be. You keep on standing Child of God because He has you in the palm of His hand. Keep on standing Child of God because you are blessed and highly favored. Keep on standing Child of God because you are the head and not the tail. You are above and not beneath. Keep on standing Child of God. You keep on standing. Your Father has mansions, and the streets are paved with gold. Keep on standing. Your Heavenly Father has everything you need. You have the victory. You will WIN! Keep on standing, Child of God.
