What does having a “Kingdom Business” mean to you?
Having a “kingdom business” means I have a God-ordained place to serve. For years, I ran from the call to ministry because I thought it meant that I had to stand in a pulpit and preach. While running, I still listened to God and accepted my call to the marketplace as a Wellness Strategist & Solutionist. This was a comfortable hiding place since I am a Registered Nurse. It wasn’t until years later while I visited my church in Georgia, that I heard God forewarn me that there would be an altar call and I was to go up without any hesitancy. The next thing I knew, he was interrupting service with an altar call for those called to ministry. In that moment I realized marketplace ministry and kingdom business were the same and I had spent years running in a circle right back to where God has always had me. To those readers who like me are running, my advice is to stop running from titles and operate in the business God has ordained for you. Don’t let the titles cause you to miss your opportunity to serve.
Why is having a coach imperative now more than ever for entrepreneurs?
A coach helps you get clarity, even on the things you already know. As an accountability coach, I help entrepreneurs simplify everyday processes. We strategize together and find solutions so that you not only thrive in your business but enjoy the journey along the way. I have several coaches. Think of it like going to the doctor, sure you have a primary doctor but if you have specific areas that need attention you visit a specialist. Having coaches with different specialties will ensure consistent growth and expansion for your kingdom business.
Any advice you would share for the overwhelmed Kingdom Business Owner?
Breathe! If God called you to it, you can do it! Everything you need is in the palm of your hand, however, you need a specialist to help you find effective strategies and solutions to your problems. I’d also advise Kingdom Business Owners to apply biblical principles to their business processes. Remind yourself of the reaping and sowing principles. Shift your thinking from “worldly” principles like lack and apply biblical principles like abundance to your life.
Is there a significant revelation you’ve received spiritually this season?
One of the perks of being a kingdom entrepreneur is that God’s favor and grace give us an advantage. The Lord is my ultimate coach and He is consistently teaching and training me to advance in His kingdom business. The work I do, I do for Christ so it is already blessed. My issue is, now and again I shift my focus off of Him. I start looking at the bank account and the client roster and then worry creeps in and stress takes over. I have to remind myself that the Lord provides manna daily. If I don’t see it, that’s a visual problem, not a supply problem. Anytime I need to correct my vision, I go back to the word of God. That’s your business training manual, you won’t go wrong if you utilize it regularly.
How can readers stay connected with you?
I’d love for readers to connect with me on my website www.sheniquainspires.com My kingdom business is unique because I use my voice to motivate, encourage, and inspire others.
