As Christians, there are times when we fear one another. We are good at quoting Scriptures but when it comes to living them out that is a different story. A profound reverence and respect for God. “We love Him because He first loved us”, I John 4:19. In order, to get rid of fear we must confront those areas that we have been hiding from. Fear is not our portion. It’s time to expose it and walk in true freedom. Let’s not allow the fear of man to hinder us from walking in the fullness of all who God has for us as His children.

Sifting is a method used to smooth out the flour before baking. The flour is measured out and placed in a metal sifter with very tiny holes in it. The sifter is held over a large bowl. The flour is poured into the sifter and movement is made to sift the flour through the tiny holes. This removes all the lumps and clumps. Whatever is remaining in the sifter is discarded. What is in the bottom of the bowl is a consistency so smooth to be used however needed. You are the flour and God is the sifter. He’s trying to build you up and make you stronger, even through your circumstances.

There are times in our lives when we are in agreement with the enemy and know he has taken up residence within. We rather live a lie instead of facing the truth. We would rather hide, pretend as if we have it all together and keep up the façade. We can be so quick to get angry with someone and turn our backs on them. You have every right to do that but the one who we need to be mad at is Satan. Exposing the enemy in our lives can be a scary thing to do. The devil is the one who uses people to mess up people. So, if you want to get mad at someone get mad at the devil because he is the one who has hurt you through a hurting individual. He is the one who has you messed up and your family. He is the one that has stolen your health. He is the one who has your mind all confused. He is the one that wants you to stay stuck in your past. Don’t let the enemy hide in you rather expose what doesn’t line up with God. Expose the enemy in your life and be free.
