Tell us about your new book!

My book Finding Favor With Your Finances is the story of my journey and experiences with money. It includes 7 principles to guide women to financial security. Based on Biblical principles, the book and the Scriptures helped me overcome financial challenges. I want more women to be in a place of less stress and more blessed in their finances.

Why is it important that people of faith sharpen their financial habits?

There are many reasons people of faith need to sharpen their financial habits. There is a prediction in the financial industry that by 2050 there will be no more middle class. It will only be the lower class and the upper class. It is time to get more education and knowledge about managing money, investing money, and preparing for the future so we will not fall into the lower class. People of faith are directed by the Bible. The word of God says in multiple scriptures that we are to live in prosperity. That prosperity is in education and knowledge of the resources we have available to us here on earth.

Any tips to share regarding how to improve one’s finances?

 a. Decide to make money management a priority.

 b. Start a money plan or budget today, write it down, and follow it.

 c. Make a date with your money! This means setting aside 1-2 hours and allocating the money based on your budget.

 d. Be intentional about spending. Know why and the amount of discretionary spending.

He is saying that if we trust and believe the size of a grain of a mustard seed, all things are possible. He wants us to believe and have faith. That house you are praying for…He needs you to have faith the size of a mustard seed. The dream you still have not birthed…He needs you to have faith the size of a mustard seed. That promotion that you want…He needs you to have faith the size of a mustard seed. That husband or that wife you are believing God for…He needs you to have faith the size of a mustard seed. That financial blessing you are believing God for…He needs you to have faith the size of a mustard seed. That business you are dreaming of starting…He needs you to have faith the size of a mustard seed.

Who is God to You

A little while back during Bible Study we were asked the question; “Who is God to You”. Many people responded with “He is my everything, He is my all and all”. And then the question was asked what does that mean? What does it mean that He is your everything? So, I am asking you that question today. Who is God to you? Who is He?
