Atlanta was on fire Juneteenth weekend as believers from across the country gathered at New Life Decatur for the annual Black Christian Influencers Conference. The two-day experience brought together hundreds of faith-driven leaders, creators, entrepreneurs, and visionaries ready to be poured into, celebrated, and equipped for greater.
Founded by Dr. Jacqueline Horbrook, known to many as Jackie the Educator, this conference is more than just an event. It’s a call to action. A movement. A reminder that you don’t have to water down your faith to show up and lead with impact. Dr. Jackie’s background in counseling, marketing, and student development shines through everything she creates. Her heart for those building platforms and making a difference was evident in every moment of this powerful weekend.

The conference opened Thursday with a high-energy Singles Mixer that sparked conversations and connections from the very beginning. That afternoon, the atmosphere shifted as influencers stepped onto the red carpet in celebration of Black excellence, Kingdom representation, and purpose. By evening, the ballroom was filled with elegance, honor, and applause during the BCI Honors Awards Gala.
Some of the most notable voices in faith and digital culture were honored:
- Malik Brookins, TikTok Creator of the Year
- Janesha Moore, Lifestyle Influencer of the Year
- Darryl Mayes and Jayson Crawford, Comedy Creators of the Year
- Enrique A. Holmes, Male Artist of the Year and featured performer
- Christian Brown, Musician of the Year
- Anike, Female Artist of the Year
- Ablaze Youth Choir, Gen Z Influencer of the Year
- Ezekiel Aonwu and We Need 2 Tlk Podcast, Podcast of the Year
- Black Church Tok, Theme Page of the Year
The evening ended with an intimate VIP After Party where special guests, speakers, and partners had the chance to connect, laugh, and celebrate in a private setting.
Friday was designed to pour into those called to influence. The day began with breakfast and networking, then transitioned into General Sessions that touched every corner of faith-based entrepreneurship and digital leadership. From Monetizing Your Mission Without Compromise to Faith Meets Influence and Building a Community That Lasts, each session left the room empowered and challenged to grow with integrity.
Attendees then broke into focused workshops including The Art of Storytelling for Impact, Leveraging Social Media for Kingdom Growth, and Navigating Challenges as a Christian Influencer. These sessions gave practical tools and real strategies to help faith-based leaders expand their reach without losing their message.
The conference closed with a deeply moving Worship Experience led by some of the nation’s most gifted worship leaders. It was the kind of moment that reminded everyone of the true assignment. To honor God, to serve people, and to use every gift with intention.
Special guests throughout the weekend included Prophetess Lesley Osei, Ariel Fitzpatrick, Pastor Jerry Flowers Jr., JustWhiti, and more. Their wisdom, authenticity, and presence added richness to an already unforgettable experience.
The vendor marketplace was also a highlight. Brands like Faith Walker Apparel, Goddess Collection, Samaritan’s Purse, and InterVarsity Press offered products and resources that aligned with the values and vision of the conference community.
Black Christian Influencers Conference has established itself as the place for Kingdom creatives and faith-based leaders who are serious about making impact and building legacy. What Dr. Jackie and her team have built is sacred ground for the next wave of Christian influencers.
For those looking to grow their platform, connect with like-minded believers, and get clear on their God-given voice, this conference is not just a recommendation—it’s a mandate.
