Being Strong During the Sifting Process

Sifting is a method used to smooth out the flour before baking. The flour is measured out and placed in a metal sifter with very tiny holes in it. The sifter is held over a large bowl. The flour is poured into the sifter and movement is made to sift the flour through the tiny holes. This removes all the lumps and clumps. Whatever is remaining in the sifter is discarded. What is in the bottom of the bowl is a consistency so smooth to be used however needed. You are the flour and God is the sifter. He’s trying to build you up and make you stronger, even through your circumstances.

The Heroic Role of Fathers in Breaking the Cycle

Since the beginning, men have been positioned as the heads of households and women as their “helpmate.” God told Adam, in Genesis, that He should not be alone as the animals all had a companion so He created the Genesis 2 - woman/helpmate - for Adam.  Now, because of lack of understanding and misinterpretations, the potential of women were made to seem limited which led to what I call The Dreaded Feminist Movement.

Horror or Strength: Reflecting on the Holocaust

Antisemitism fueled these atrocities, with Jews being blamed for 'killing Jesus' and other baseless accusations. They were likened to 'germs' and treated with extreme cruelty. Expose the Enemy In Your Life

There are times in our lives when we are in agreement with the enemy and know he has taken up residence within. We rather live a lie instead of facing the truth. We would rather hide, pretend as if we have it all together and keep up the façade. We can be so quick to get angry with someone and turn our backs on them. You have every right to do that but the one who we need to be mad at is Satan. Exposing the enemy in our lives can be a scary thing to do. The devil is the one who uses people to mess up people. So, if you want to get mad at someone get mad at the devil because he is the one who has hurt you through a hurting individual. He is the one who has you messed up and your family. He is the one that has stolen your health. He is the one who has your mind all confused. He is the one that wants you to stay stuck in your past. Don’t let the enemy hide in you rather expose what doesn’t line up with God. Expose the enemy in your life and be free.

Choosing An Alternative Lifestyle

Living an alternative lifestyle means you get to choose how you want to live. Living an alternative lifestyle means you reject what society deems as normal. Are you rejecting society or God? Alternative means a choice limited to one of two or more possibilities. When someone is coerced, forced, or chooses an alternative lifestyle that means that they don’t abide by the original lifestyle. The original lifestyle is a man and a woman. We all have a choice to make in life. If you choose an alternative lifestyle that is your choice. There are times when a past trauma causes this decision. We live in a fallen world and we are all prone to be hurt by someone. I want you to know that you have to deal with the hurt or it will always be in the back of your mind dealing with you subconsciously. It will not go anywhere and you will go through life pretending that you are okay when you are dying on the inside. You will be in and out of relationships until you deal with your issues and confront them! You may choose to stay in your alternative relationship because you refuse to deal with your past hurts and that is your choice.
